Promotion License Terms

What permission a buyer gives creators to use their song.

Social post permission

  • The buyer permits matched creators to use the song in the social format named on the order, with the required credit, disclosure and tracked link, for the required stay-up period.

Live streams

  • The buyer lets the matched creator play the song during live streams and keep it in stream recordings for proof.

Cover permission

  • The buyer lets the matched Cover Artist record their own version of the song, using the buyer's lyric sheet, and post it on the social platforms named on the order.
  • The cover must credit the artist and link to the song, and stay up for at least 30 days. It may stay up afterwards.
  • The license does not allow releasing the cover on streaming services, selling it, or using it in other works.

  • You confirm you own or control 100% of the song and can grant this permission.
