Terms of Service

The rules Song Wake runs on: matchmaking, covers, Auto Pilot, fees, store credit and what is not allowed.

How Song Wake works

You set a budget, choose a service (Social Plays or Cover Artists) and a song. Song Wake automatically chooses creators, packages, platforms and placements according to genre, audience, availability, pricing and lineup rules, fitting as many as your budget and those rules allow. You cannot pick individual creators; favorites get priority when they are available and in range.
Each matched creator has 72 hours to accept. If one passes or does not answer, Song Wake replaces them automatically.

One-time campaigns: your budget plus one $9.99 service fee. Song Wake keeps 20% of the budget and the rest goes to creators. Buyers never see individual creator prices.
No service fee on a campaign with a budget over $1,000, on a campaign paid entirely with store credit, and no service fee on Auto Pilot.
First campaigns are limited to $1,000 until your first order is complete. Some payments are held for a security check before matching starts.
No sales tax is added.

Social Plays feature the buyer's song in live streams, Instagram Reels, feed posts and Stories, TikTok videos, YouTube videos and Shorts, or Facebook Posts, Reels and Stories. Packages and placements are chosen automatically from eligible creator offers; buyers do not choose platforms, placements or Social Plays tiers.
Use the official platform sound when available, otherwise the order audio. Posts need 15 seconds of audible music or the whole shorter clip, artist and song credit, #ad or a paid partnership label, an artist tag where possible and the tracked link in a caption, Story sticker or bio.
Posts stay up at least 30 days. Stories stay up their full 24 hours, with a screen recording and insights screenshot submitted within 24 hours. Live streams retain the whole-song or 3:15 minimum and chat line.

Cover artists post their own version of your song within 25 days of accepting, credit you with a link and keep the post up for at least 30 days. A lyric sheet is required.
Covers may be posted on social platforms only. They are never released on streaming services.

Forever Posts are one-time purchases governed by the Forever Posts Terms: $29.99 to unlock the portal, then $49.99 per post. They are paid by card; store credit can't be used. Adding the unlock when paying for a Social Plays or Cover Artists order waives that order's $9.99 service fee (campaigns over $1,000 already have no fee).

Unplaced or undelivered budget comes back as store credit, as set out in the Store Credit and Dispute Policy. There are no card refunds.

Song Wake sells exposure to live and social audiences. It does not guarantee streams, followers or sales.
