Store Credit and Dispute Policy
When budget comes back as store credit, how disputes work, and how Auto Pilot rollover is handled.
Draft. Song Wake will replace this with lawyer-reviewed text.
Store credit
- One-time campaigns: budget Song Wake could not place, a missed delivery, a creator cancellation, a dispute decided for you, or a cover or Social Play post taken down early comes back as store credit for that placement.
- Auto Pilot: the same amounts roll into next month's budget instead. If you cancel, remaining rollover becomes store credit, dollar for dollar.
- The service fee is not returned. Store credit never expires, is applied automatically at your next checkout, and cannot be cashed out.
Disputes
- You have 72 hours after proof is submitted to verify it or open a dispute. Verified evidence is approved automatically without a response; unavailable post checks require team review first.
- Cover disputes can be opened for a wrong song, wrong lyrics, a missing credit or link, missing #ad, a post under the required length, a private post, or a post on the wrong platform.
- Social Play disputes also include music not audible for 15 seconds (or the whole shorter clip), failure to use an available official sound, early takedown or a Story not kept up 24 hours.
- Song Wake reviews the proof and decides. Decisions for you return store credit or rollover; decisions for the creator release payment.
- Uploaded proof videos are deleted 90 days after the order is paid out or credited. A video is never deleted while a dispute is open, or while the buyer or the creator has it switched on as a profile highlight. Post links stay on the order.
